Abstract

It is important to know localization and extent of the regional abnormal motion of the left ventricle in the case of myocardial infarction. Many authors have attempted to detect left ventricular asynergy with M-mode echocardiography (1, 2, 3, 5). We have attempted in this study to make a systematic real-time cross-sectional echocardiographic approach to detect the left ventricular asynergy in myocardial infarction and to analyse the cardiac motion in this setting.
