Abstract

The influence of some biotic and abiotic factors on the fertility of some planktonic rotifers was studied. Trophic factors, such as community structure and the amount of nannoplankton food available was of considerable influence to rotifer fertility, especially among sedimentators, while abiotic factors had a much smaller influence.
