Abstract
18 patients from a dialysis programme were called upon for a more accurate electrodiagnostic examination. The clinical ophthalmological results obtained with these and their satisfactory visual functions must be considered good. The electrodiagnostic findings result from the reduction in the overall course of the EOG. The authors take this as an expression of uraemic retinopathy analogous similarly as this is the case with the well known nephrogenic encephalopathy.
