Abstract
This lecture deals with all is common either to electron paramagnetic resonance (E.P.R.) or to nuclear magnetic resonance (N. M. R). It will present, in an as elementary form as possible, the main concepts used in magnetic resonance emphasizing some aspects, specific for interface science. More complete or rigorous statements could be found in specialized lectures of this summer school or in referenced books (1).
