Abstract

It is generally recognized that the achievements of science affect the general level of human culture. In the twentieth century, however, these achievements have become so great that their application is exerting a global influence on the structure of society. Because of this process, which has assumed the proportions of a scientific-technological revolution, the education of youth can no longer be considered separately from the social implications of this revolution.
