Abstract

The development and the function of the testicular germ line on both the prepubertal and the adult testis are subject to a hypothalamo-hypophyseal regulation, which has been the subject of several recent reviews (Franchimont et al. 1975, Gupta et al. 1975; Jeffcoate 1975; Steinberger 1975, Courot 1976; Forest et al. 1976; Hansson et al. 1976).
