Abstract
Apart from polyester and epoxide resins, several other resins are used for laminating applications and in moulding compounds. These include vinyl ester resins, furane resins, Friedel-Crafts polymers, polyimide resins, silicone resins, phenolics, and melamine- and urea-formaldehyde resins. Of these, only the furane, vinyl ester and Friedel-Crafts resins will be discussed in detail, although some comments will be made about the other resins.
