Abstract

This paper describes actual case examples from the Strathcona Community Care Team, a neighbourhood-based mental health agency, in its service to the Chinese in Vancouver over a 3-year period of October, 1973, to October, 1976. Before we proceed to the case material, some background information about the mental health service is in order.
