Abstract
As it has been reported (3), we have started studying the Greek species of the genus Sideritis, section Empedoclia, from a biosystematic point of view. Furthermore we are studying the chemical differences or similarities between these species, on the basis of the components of the volatile fraction, used for the first time for such an investigation.
