  • Chapter
Pancreatic Tumors in Children

Part of the book series: Cancer Treatment and Research ((CTAR,volume 8))

Abstract

An uncommon pancreatic neoplasm of epithelial origin, occurring most often in girls and young women, has been described in caucasians and orientais, and with disproportionate frequency, in blacks. A few men have been afflicted, but we have not encountered any cases in boys. Our earliest case on file is from 1927, a woman of 19 years.
