Abstract

Based on the existing results of the nonseismic method, the programme has been devised to develop a system by means of which a concept can be established for the further exploration of basins where few reflections are obtained. Particular importance is attached to a comparative interpretation of the results of various geophysical methods and to summarising them in order to build up a picture of the geological structure of the basin concerned. Modern data processing methods will be used to a large extent. These developments are based on the north west German basin.
