Abstract

We have shown that the cell and a fraction, IF52, of Vibrio cholerae elto V86 enhanced the induction of IgE antibody and also have shown that another fraction IF30 depressed the induction of IgE antibody production and enhanced the induction of vibriocidal antibody (1). This time we examined the influence of the oral administration of live cholera vibrio on the induction of antibodies.
