Preparation of Diffusion Denuder Tubes for Collection of Ammonia or Acidic Gases in Air. Equipment for Coating and Extraction

  • Conference paper
Physico-Chemical Behaviour of Atmospheric Pollutants

Summary

The construction and preparation of a denuder tube assembly for collection and direct analysis of ammonia or acidic gases is described. The assembly consists of fifteen glass tubes arranged in a holder; it can be easily connected with a filter holder for concurrent collection of particles. Also, an equipment for rapid and convenient coating and extraction of the tubes is described.
