Abstract
The author of [190] was the first to attempt to explain the observed features of fog structure. In that paper, an analysis of the equations of heat influx and moisture transfer was used to explain, for the first time, the drop in temperature close to the ground and the creation of a lifted temperature inversion in a fog (high-inversion fog). The ideas of [190] were developed in [162]ywhere the equation for the heat conduction of the soil was added to the system of equations describing heat and moisture transport. Radiation effects were taken into account in the boundary conditions(at the ground before the fog forms and at the upper boundary of the fog after the fog forms).
