Abstract

During the past ten years extensive research studies have been undertaken in the area of the design and analysis of curved bridge structures. Such studies were necessitated by increased demands for curved highway alignment and aesthetic considerations. It is therefore the purpose of this paper to present the results of some of these studies and the resulting design specifications.
