Abstract
The Canadian Forestry Service is extremely pleased to welcome all the participants to this international symposium on Scleroderris Canker of Conifers. It is also our pleasure to cosponsor this meeting with the USDA Forest Service, the IUFRO Scleroderris Canker Work Party, and the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Some of the participants have traveled far to join us at the Symposium and we hope that they will feel that their effort was justified by the end of the meeting.
