Some second approximations

  • Chapter
The Earth’s Density

Abstract

Any of the original A-type and B Earth models provides a first approximation to the distributions of the main internal physical properties of the Earth, namely, the density ρ, pressure p, gravitational intensity g, incompressibility k, and rigidity μ Various amendments, mostly of the nature of small corrections to the original models, will now be considered, leading to second (not final) approximations
