Factors Associated with Relapse Following Allogeneic Bone Marrow Transplantation for Acute Leukemia in Remission

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Developments in Oncology ((DION,volume 19))

Abstract

Although the advances in the treatment of patients with acute nonlymphoblastic leukemia (ANL) obtained with combination chemotherapy and supportive care are promising, the overall long-term leukemia-free survival and possible cure rates of the majority of these patients is poor (1).
