Abstract
On the basis of observation of dento-occlusal morphology, several thorough and widespread investigations have been made with reference to the normal value of dento-occlusion in China. More than 60000 persons were chosen as survey subjects, and more than 150000 teeth were comprehensively measured. The normal average value which we have obtained by scientific statistical analysis of the survey not only basically reflects the normal value of dento-occlusion of Chinese, but also fundamentally embodies the racial characteristics of the different nationalities in China. Moreover, certain rules and regularities have been discovered by studies on the analysis of these investigations.
