Abstract

There are a large number of developmental and acquired abnormalities of dental tissues that are mainly of specialist interest. Many of these abnormalities can only be studied in undecalcified ground sections and by other techniques that are not routinely undertaken in most general pathology laboratories. The following brief account is therefore limited to the more common disorders, and a few less common but particularly distinctive lesions.
