Abstract

The aim of therapy in acute myocardial infarction is the restoration of coronary blood flow. By streptolysis therapy a reperfusion rate for intracoronary administration between 60% [1] and 86% [2] for intravenous administration between 50% [3] and 67% [4] using acute coronary angiography and 96% using indirect clinical criteria were reached [5]. From start of therapy until reperfusion 23 ±12 min [6] to 36 ± 8 min [7] were reported.
