Abstract

The management of patients with malignant lymphomas has undergone considerable change during the past ten years. As a result of advances in diagnostic and therapeutic methods, treatment results have dramatically improved for patients with Hodgkin’s disease.1,2 The situation is not the same for patients with lymphomas other than Hodgkin’s disease, the so-called non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas.3
