Abstract
We are currently using gentle centrifugation technique to obtain a leucocyte-reduced red cell suspension for filtration studies (1). Although the centrifugation speed is low (600 g; the figure was incorrectly reported as 2000 g in the original paper), we felt it necessary to verify that no selection of red cells according to age resulted from the centrifugation.
