Abstract

Representatives from three corporations known to be leaders in the application of lasers were invited to this NATO Institute. Their lectures provided great insight, particularly to the non-industry students in attendance, into the many difficulties faced by proponents of laser processing, especially when one tries to actually place that technology on the factory floor.
