Abstract
In August 1984 the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) carried out an extensive consultation exercise aimed at gaining agreement on 3 documents concerned with the safe use of programmable electronic systems (PESs). It is hoped to publish these guidance documents, titled “Guidance on the use of programmable electronic systems in safety related applications: Parts 1–3”.
