Abstract

Subsequent to our study of the dosimetry of radiopharmaceuticals for adrenal cortex imaging (1) we have performed whole body biokinetic and retention measurements with I131-MIBG in animals and man. Biokinetic data from mice were utilized to replace unmeasurable organ kinetics in human. In man we recorded whole body profiles from which only liver and thyroid accumulation could be evaluated together with the distribution and excretion of the radiopharmaceutical in the whole body.
