Diagnosis of Mycotoxicoses

Part of the book series: Current Topics in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science ((CTVM,volume 33))

Abstract

Traditionally, the UJNR Toxic Micro-Organisms Panel has held symposia which cover research areas involving toxins produced by microorganisms not covered by previous conferences or books. Thus, the two Panels have concentrated on mycotoxins and botulism, on Vibrio parahaemolyticus, microorganisms and microbial standards in international trade, mycotoxins and human health, and on the symposium held last year that dealt with the mycological aspects of mycotoxins. Each meeting on these special topics has resulted in a series of books [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]. This symposium, likewise, will be published in book form by the publishers of Mycopathologia.
