Zusammenfassung
Die Funktion von Kupfferzellen (KC), Endothelzellen (EC) und Hepatozyten (HC) beim Uridinkatabolismus der Rattenleber wurde anhand der verschiedenen mittels Zentrifugalelutriation getrennten Leberzellpopulationen untersucht. Die Ergebnisse zeigen eine rasche und effektive Phosphorolyse von Uridin zu Uracil durch KC, während EC und HC in dieser Hinsicht wesentlich weniger aktiv sind. Dagegen ließ sich ein vollständiger Abbau des Uridin zu CO2, ß-Alanin und Ammoniak nur für HC nachweisen. Diese Befunde sind vereinbar mit einer Kooperation von Leberzellen, wobei vornehmlich KC Blutplasmauridin in Uracil überführen, das dann erst durch HC vollständig abgebaut werden kann.
