Abstract
Stationary concentrators are cylindrical concentrators which yield low average concentration ratios i.e. less than ten while collecting solar energy for seven hours a day in stationary mode. These concentrators are placed along East-West direction and are adjusted towards the sun in the North-South direction a few times per year. The stationary concentrators can be used to collect solar energy in the temperature range of 100 to 250°C.
