Abstract
The work of Neutron Radiography described in this paper was performed at the research reactor of Tsinghua University, which is a pool-type light water reactor with a power of 2 MW. This neutron radiography system reached the level N80-10-7 of the ASTM E545-75 standard. A MTF programme was developed for making neutron radiography convertors. Neutron radiographs of corn roots growing in soil were obtained with resolution of about 0.3 mm. The research of water permeation in concrete using neutron radiography technique was also tested. A preliminary real-time neutron radiography system usable to observe two-phase flow was installed.
