Abstract
Even though for a long time it has been included in the arsenal of oil combatting techniques, the treatment of an oil slick by dispersants is still a debatable solution. In addition to the difficulty in assessing the effectiveness of such products on oil, the evaluation of their consequences on marine ecosystems is very delicate and is the subject of numerous research projects.
