Abstract
Slab structures and more particularly one- or multi-storied structures consisting of flat slabs are modern structural systems of high versatility. This functional adaptability together with economic, technical and esthetical advantages, explains the use of slabs in the design of reinforced concrete structures over the last thirty years.
