Synopsis
The features and plant operating experience of the AMBERPACK™ system for high efficiency counter current operation are discussed and reviewed. The system enables the advantages of upflow loading, downflow regeneration on a stationary compacted resin bed to be realised while still permitting removal of portions of the resin for cleaning by backwashing when required.
