Abstract

In all cases where radiopharmaceuticals are used in clinical practice, consideration of patient safety is of paramount importance and everybody has a contribution to make in achieving this aim. This requires close co-operation between hospitals, manufacturers and authorities to ensure that all materials used are safe, are of suitable quality and are efficacious.
