Abstract

The development of cataract during perimetric follow up of glaucoma patients is a difficult, but frequent problem in the daily practice of the ophthalmologist.

By simulating media opacities with orthoptic occluders on the corrective lens, their influence on the perimetric results (using the Octopus 500E, programme G1) was studied in a group of normal persons and a group of patients with pathological fields.
