Abstract
Sexual behaviour is a significant part of total human behaviour. In clinical care in general practice, we can no longer ignore - if we ever really did - the call from our patients for counsel and therapy in sexual problems. To achieve even modest success in this complex field of individual practice and human interrelationship, we need some basic understanding of the sexual functions and practices in contemporary society.
