Abstract
The health care industry is undergoing considerable changes today. These changes are being driven by four sources: technologists, government and related reimbursement issues, health care providers and health care users. The principal causes of these changes are advances in technology, cost containment, changing demographics of doctors and patients, lower interest rates making equipment more affordable, increased competition for patients and demands for service from patients and families.
