Abstract

The term disorders is somewhat all-embracing and requires definition. The majority of disorders which affect the tomato crop have nutritional or pathological causes. These do not form the subject of this chapter and reference should be sought in the relevant sections (Chapter 7 for nutrition and Chapter 11 for pathology). When these possibilities have been eliminated there remains a residue of problems caused by a variety of factors some better understood than others.
