Abstract
Every philosophical School tries somehow to articulate its view of philosophy and its method. Metaphilosophical reflections are also to be found in the works of philosophers from the Lvov—Warsaw School. It must be emphasized that in this School no special manifestos expressing metaphilosophical opinions were written. The nature and the method of philosophy were being explained as it were in the margin of works concerned with definite philosophical problems, and more rarely in special papers.
