Abstract

A Catholic “perspective” on morals — medical or otherwise — implies a coherent view of the moral life that transcends purely philosophical ethics in some distinctive ways. What those ways consist in, whether they are different in kind or degree, and whether they entail a distinctive moral life are all important and still problematic questions.
