Abstract
Although the subject of modelling is quite popular at conferences in the field of water or environmental management, so far at these events relatively little attention has been paid to the functioning of modelling in management. It is generally agreed that the model is an important tool for predicting the effects of human intervention in the natural conditions of a catchment area. But to what extent are water management decisions based on model results? And to what degree can management requirements be satisfied by the model experts?
