Abstract
I here present a new and original technique of podology that we have been practising for the last few years with Dr R.J. Bourdiol. In this technique, the foot is regarded as one of the most essential links of the reflex orthostatic system. The foot is the basis of the somatic edifice. I intend to demonstrate that a manual or reflex orthopaedic treatment of the foot allows somatic modifications.
