Microfouling Film Composition, Thickness and Surface Roughness on Ship Trial Antifouling Paints

  • Chapter
Biodeterioration 7

Abstract

A range of antifouling panels were exposed under operational conditions on the bilge keel of an ocean going ship. The physical characteristics and the diatom composition of microfouling on these surfaces were shown to be influenced by the paint formulation.
