Abstract
At present, pacemaker implantation frequently represents a complex decision-making process to select the specific stimulator type: programmable; single or double-chamber; regulated by biosensors. In an attempt to prevent or interrupt a tachy-arrhythmia, particularly if it is ventricular, the semiautomatic or orthorhythmic system is now available.
