Abstract
Approximately every five minutes one sudden death occurs in the United States. One sudden death takes place every half-hour in as small a country as The Netherlands. If this prevalence of sudden death in industrialized countries holds true as an average, four to five-thousand sudden deaths occur yearly in the City of Barcelona and its surrounding area. But who are the victims? Where, how, when and why?
