Abstract
Those who claim there is determinate truth in propositions about a future contingent seem to fall into a certain abominable heresy of John Wyclif, condemned by Pope Martin at the Council of Constance, namely, that all things come about from absolute necessity. To explain this, some assumptions should first be set down.
