Intramolecular Dynamics

  • Chapter

Abstract

There is currently both experimental and theoretical evidence that also in systems of many interacting atoms there can be dynamical selectivity with respect to initial mode of excitation and specificity with respect to final outcomes. This lecture provides a brief outline of the newly available results and examines in detail the dynamics of highly vibrationally excited acetylene.
