Abstract
While a great deal of attention has been focused on characteristics of patients that transfer to other maintenance dialysis therapies, the Registry had not focused on patients who received kidney transplants, who left dialysis without return of kidney function, or whose kidney function returned. This report presents a brief description of demographic and primary renal disease characteristics of those patients.
The material contained in this report has been published as follows: Nolph KD, Cutler SJ, Steinberg SM, Novak JW. Special studies from the NIH Registry. Peritoneal Dial Bull 6:28–35, 1986.
