Abstract
A poorly preserved work from Rembrandt’s workshop, evidently from the same hand as no. C 72 (and thus also nos. C 73 and C 82) and possibly a companion-piece to no. C105. It has been transferred from panel to canvas, and was probably originally rather larger and rectangular in shape.
