Affinity Purification Using Radial Streaming Affinity Chromatography

A new support for affinity chromatography based on a cellulose-acrylic network was developed.

Using differently substituted supports, we have been able to purify trypsin, antibodies, and trypsinogen with their corresponding ligand. In a single pass, we were able to obtain good purity (> 85%)with good yields. Using coupled p-amino-benzamidine, we have shown that this purification method can be scaled-up very easily on radial-flow cartridges.
